This uplifting 8 x 11 minute documentary series follows 13 year-old animal lover, actress and activist Cailan as she volunteers for Ontario’s largest Rescue and Rehabilitation Facility, Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary.

We are so proud to announce that the short teaser film is a semi-finalist at the Montreal Film Festival. We are looking for production funding for the series in summer 2021.
The project also includes 30 x 2 minute videos where Cailan introduces us to each of the iconic Canadian native species in the show and gives us fun facts. For example did you know where the expression “play Possum” comes from? The little Opossum, north America’s only marsupial- a lover not a fighter, the Opussum plays dead if in danger.
