Hop To It Productions is building a new slate of Holiday  Movies for women. First is a new holiday digital series and movie ready for production in 2026 – a family-friendly romantic comedy called “Romeo’s Christmas Rescue”.

Award-winning Writers Jeff Butler, Sophie Nation and Susan Nation have completed the mini-bible, and script. We are looking for broadcasters to support production.

Story- Evergreen Holiday Rom Com with relevant themes

Psychology student and animal rights activist Emmie fosters a mischievous little rescue puppy named Bella while staying with her older lawyer sister Jessica over the summer. Comedic chaos ensues. 

A few weeks after taking Bella home to her sister Jessica’s apartment, Emmie gets offered a prized place at a university workshop retreat for 6 weeks. She begs Jessica to baby sit the naughty puppy. Reluctantly Jessica agrees, and her already busy life gets turned upside down. After a few bumps and twists, and some puppy classes, Jessica develops a genuine affection for her new dependent, as well as a strong attraction to a hot guy and Bella loves his dog Romeo from the dog park, Brad. The couple seem meant for each other but Brad is not what he appears and Jessica’s ambition gets in the way so things go horribly wrong. We watch Bella, Brad and Jessica each grow and transform through the film until eventually, surmounting all obstacles, they find love and happiness just in time for Cristmas. (think Marley and Me meets Raising Helen). 

A little Puppy Love does Jessica a whole lot of good.
