We are very excited to announce that Hop To It Productions has a new TV and Digital development deal on the family-friendly romantic comedy “Pippy Love” with the Pet Network, supported by the Canada Media Fund. Award winning Writer/Director Jeff Butler and Producer Susan Nation will be creating the outline, mini-bible, online presence and sample script. They will be shopping the project in LA in March.

A few weeks later, Emma gets offered an exchange in Italy for 6 weeks. She begs her uptight, neat, workaholic older sister Julia to baby sit naughty Pippy. Reluctantly Julia agrees, and her already hectic life gets turned upside down. After a few bumps and twists, and some puppy classes, Julia develops a genuine affection for her new dependent, as well as a strong attraction to a hot guy from the dog park called Tom. Tom and Julia seem meant for each other but all is not what he seems and things go horribly wrong. We watch Pippy, Tom and Julia each grow and transform through the film until eventually, surmounting all obstacles, they find love and happiness. (think Marley and Me meets Raising Helen). A little Pippy Love does Julia a whole lot of good.
