The Hop To It team is proud to announce our latest children series, Animal Rescue Adventures, has been awarded funding by the CMF Export Fund.

Animal Rescue Adventures

This uplifting aspirational documentary series for kids in Grade 1 to 3 follows authentic animal-loving sisters Sky Lily (12) and Raina (14), as they travel around Ontario volunteering at different animal rescue centers and sanctuaries.

They share unique behind the scenes access and stories of rescued animals from Turtles to Owls to Rat Snakes (more than 200 species of plants and animals are at risk of disappearing from Ontario).

We meet the different individual animals and the incredible passionate people helping them.

Informed by teacher Nicole Classon and wildlife expert and author Rob Laidlaw, we learn fun facts about biodiversity, habitats, food, water, movement, body parts, classification in each episode.

Realscreen and Kidscreen Summit

Hop To It Productions partner Nina Beveridge and Susan Nation had an amazing time attending this years Realscreen Summit with their newest developments.

Realscreen Summit is the top global market and conference for unscripted and non-fiction entertainment with amazing opportunities for networking, learning and making deals.

Attending the AIDC

Hop To It Productions went on a Canadian mission bringing Animal Rescue Adventures to Australian audiences at Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC).

Established in 1987, AIDC is a not-for-profit organisation committed to the sustainability of documentary, factual and unscripted storytelling in all screen and digital forms.

Serving both the commercial and creative needs of the industry, AIDC organises a marketplace for documentary and factual product, showcases the work of Australian and international producers, and creates a forum to discuss content, craft, technology and future directions.

Our goal is to connect creators, purveyors and viewers of nonfiction screen content in ways that promote business, inspire creativity and ignite social change.
